The Research Education, Training and Career Development program of the CCTST is designed to enhance the clinical research skills, mentorship, and productivity of current Academic Health Center (AHC) clinical and translational investigators while developing new, and expanding existing, pipelines of future clinical and translational researchers.  In addition, the program strives to enhance community awareness, interest, understanding, and involvement in clinical and translational research, and to advance the science of its teaching.  The program is led by Joel Tsevat, MD, MPH , co-director of the CCTST and associate dean for clinical and translational research.
