The Biostatistics, Epidemiology, & Research Design (BERD) special interest group is an integral part of the Association for Clinical and Translational Science (ACTS).

Vision

Lead the dissemination and implementation of rigorous methodology in Clinical and Translational Research.

Mission

The BERD SIG will advance Clinical and Translational Research by:

• Identifying and developing best practices for the application of biostatistics, epidemiology, and research design;
• Integrating best practices into research and training programs for clinical and translational scientists;
• Serving as a resource for the community of clinical and translational scientists.
