Care Delivery Innovation Competition

Continuing our commitment to innovation and technology, UC Health and the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center are pleased to announce the second annual Care Delivery Innovation Competition.

The purpose of this competition is to showcase successes in care delivery innovation, and to drive, recognize and reward novel ideas throughout the academic health system in alignment with our mutual commitment to advancing education, research and clinical care.

Winners will be awarded in November 2016.

The second annual “Care Delivery Innovation Competition” will focus on patient engagement, rewarding innovative initiatives that actively involve patients in ways that promote positive, healthy behaviors and/or empower patients to assess the care they receive in order for it to be improved upon.

Winning proposals will be those that clearly demonstrate engagement with patients in a way that encourages two-way communication and enhances the provision of care through increased efficiency, improved quality and/or enhanced access.

By working together to build on existing initiatives and further develop new ideas and approaches, we believe UC Health and the University of Cincinnati are poised to be leaders in engaging patients in the health care delivery process.
