Connecting investigators to resources and potential collaborators is a need across the CCTST partner institutions and the community. To address this need, the CIS developed The Collaboration Network (TCN) to overcome geographical, institutional and disciplinary barriers to connecting with colleagues with complementary interests.

TCN is a growing group of investigators, clinicians, service providers and other innovators who meet weekly to learn about each other, available resources, and funding opportunities. Guests and experts are frequently invited to participate in order to provide information about a service or resource. On a monthly basis, the TCN invites one of its members to present a “Member Spotlight”, to give a presentation about their projects, research, challenges, and interests in collaboration.

Virtual Meetings on Special Topics:

The newest initiative of the TCN is a quarterly WebEx conference on a topic of significant complexity that would benefit greatly from the collaboration of researchers, educators, service providers, product developers and other innovators across diverse disciplines.  Invited speakers and attendees come from across UC, Cincinnati Children's, UC Health, and other educational institutions and community organizations. These virtual meetings are open to everyone via WebEx.  Each quarterly meeting replaces one of our regular Thursday meetings, and runs from 9:00-11:00 AM, with a pre-meeting technology check for WebEx users from 8:30-9:00 AM)

Virtual Meeting Presentations and Follow-up

Participants from each Virtual Meeting will automatically begin to receive TCN meeting invitations and information on follow-up activities for that topic (to unsubscribe, please reply to one of the emails with an unsubscribe request).

A follow-up survey will be sent out after each meeting so we can collect information about the activities and collaborations forming around these topic areas.  Continued follow up will be recorded on our Virtual Meeting Websites.

Please send information about new projects and collaborations to Laura Hildreth at hildrele@uc.edu so we can keep track of these updates on the Virtual Meeting websites:

Internal Funding Needs Assessment: Your Opinion Matters

You are invited to take the CCTST Internal Funding Needs Assessment designed to inform people who administer grant funding across CCTST partner institutions about what YOU need in regard to internal funding.  This survey will provide valuable information about the internal funding needs of our researchers, educators and service providers.

Click HERE to take the survey, or copy this URL into your browser:
